Our approach
This website has been designed with accessibility in mind. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. We do not claim certified compliance. Accessibility is ongoing, and we will continue to improve the site.
Features
- Semantic headings and landmarks to support screen readers.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, links, forms and accordions.
- Visible focus indicators.
- Colour combinations chosen for contrast.
- Form labels, hints and error messages that are announced to assistive technology.
- Text that can be resized without the layout breaking.
- Reduced-motion support for people who prefer less animation.
- Descriptive image alternatives where images convey meaning.
Known limitations
Some images are licensed stock photography used for illustration. They include text alternatives, but they do not depict actual participants, families or staff. If an image is decorative, it is hidden from assistive technology.
Some links go to external websites that we do not control. Their accessibility and privacy practices may be different from ours.
Alternative formats
If you need information from this website in another format, please contact us. We will discuss what we can do, including reading information to you over the phone or providing a plain-language explanation.
Feedback
If you find an accessibility barrier, please tell us. Include the page, what you were trying to do and the technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing it.
