Everyday personal support

Assistance with personal activities

Respectful assistance with everyday personal routines at home and in the community.
Two people holding hands in a supportive and respectful gesture

Personal activities support covers help with daily routines such as dressing, grooming, meal preparation, moving around the home and other personal care tasks. Support is delivered with dignity, privacy and your preferences at the centre.

We take the time to understand how you like things done. You stay in control of the support, and we work at your pace.

Questions about this support

What is the difference between personal activities and high-intensity support?
High-intensity daily personal activities can include complex health or personal care needs that require specialised skills and registration. Unified Steps does not currently provide high-intensity clinical or nursing support. We can discuss what you need and whether we are the right fit.
Will the same support worker help me each time?
We aim to provide consistent support and will discuss staffing arrangements with you. We cannot guarantee a specific worker or roster until arrangements are confirmed.
Do you provide support in my home?
Yes, personal activities support is generally provided in your home and sometimes in the community, depending on your goals and plan. We will confirm the arrangements with you.
